Press Invitation from Cartersville Baseline Warriors

     The Cartersville Baseline Warriors runner up in the 2006 WBA season(World Basketball Association) are returning to the WBA & Cartersville for the 2008 season!  Cartersville Baseline Warriors won the Eastern Conference during the 2006 season only to fall short in double overtime to the eventual champions the Rome Gladiators.  The Warriors also won the SEBL Summer Basketball Championship here in Cartersville, and in April 2008 went on a 3 week tour throughout China playing against Chinese professional basketball teams.  The 2008 team will be owned and operated by The Human Race, Inc a Georgia 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corp. which is ran by David & Amy Archer Jr. of Cartersville.  In our short time together, we have put together an extremely competitive team featuring several players from the area such as Mike Dean(Coosa High-UGA & Middle Tennessee State), and Jermaine Spivey(Model High-Univ. of New Orleans).  We would like for you to attend our media gathering and practice on either Thursday, Friday(May 22 & 23, 2008) or both at 7PM to be held at the Aubrey Street Gymnasium in Cartersville, GA(129 Aubrey Street, Cartersville, GA 30120).  Our 1^st game will be Saturday May 24, 2008 in Wise, VA, with the 1^st home contest June 6, 2008.  We will have all players in attendance as well as Head Coach/General Manager Bobby Rouse, Assistant Coach Jackie Copeland, & Owner/Operator David Archer for questions and photographs.  You may contact General Manager Bobby Rouse at 678-522-1017 or at bobbyrouse2002@yahoo.com.  We would like to thank you in advance for your time.  GO WARRIORS!!
