Hello All,
We are close to the start of the 20th Edition of the SEBL Summer Pro Am Basketball League. The following game schedules are attached for your review...
1. The Schedule for the City B-League & WSEBL Women's Schedule is attached. 2. The Schedule for the Metro A-League Schedule is attached.
This summer the SEBL will have Metro A-League Divisions in Cartersville and again at Clayton State University. The City B-League Divisions will be played in Cartersville, as will the WSEBL Women's Summer Division. Also, there is an affiliate division of the SEBL being operated in Oklahoma City, by Jonathan Reed of OnPoint Hoops. Reed is a former player with Baseline-1 and BC Lakers in the SEBL. He has developed a super program out in Oklahoma and has joined efforts with Baseline Sports Management and The Human Race, Inc.
Bartow County Bank, The Etowah Housing Authority, Speciatly Accounting have all provided great help again leading into this summer. With several new alliances, with companies like the Chinese Sports Agency, the Southern Roundball Classic, Noy Castillo's Brand40.com products, Derrek Hamilton's GameTime Training, Onpoint Hoops (Okla.) and Ideal Sports, year number "twenty" is shaping up to be a great campaign.
The SEBL Summer League has long been a proving ground for up and coming and veteran pro and college players to show their athletic abilities. We hope that you will all support the program, and The Human Race, Inc's many efforts to provide positive enrichment activities for our communities.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
David G. Archer Jr. SEBL Summer Pro Am League a Divsion of The Human Race, Inc., a Georgia 501(c)3 Non-profit Corp. Post Office Box 2282 Cartersville GA 30120

Warriors sign new players...
Cartersville Warriors transactions for 6/4/08...
The Cartersville Warriors pro basketball team, in an effort to put things on the right track after an unsuspected 0-3 start, have signed several new players.
Head Coach Bobby Rouse has brought in AJ Mastin, Cole Rose and Stanley Burrison.
Mastin, a 6'2" SG, who played at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is a superb perimeter shooter and will bolster the Warriors scoring options.
Rose, a versitile 6'6" guard-forward from Lee University, will provide great defense, hustle and another scoring option. He shot over 45% from beyond the arc in his career at Lee.
The 6'9" Burrison, no stranger to the Warriors organization, will re-join the club to provide more inside heighth. The long-armed Burrison can play the 3 , 4 or 5 positions on the floor. Burrison was a member of the Warriors squad that toured China this past April.
Mastin, Rose and Burrison are expected to be in uniform for the Warriors home opener against the Decatur Court Kings this Friday evening at 7:15pm.
To make room on the roster, the Warriors released Lamarr Farr, Antonio Simpson and Jimmy Baxter. Farr, a Wisconsin-native, had to return home for personal reasons, while Simpson left the team to pursue other options. Baxter, who had yet to play a game in a Warriors uniform, suffered a death in the family and has taken a leave.
The Cartersville Warriors are a division of The Human Race, Inc, a Georgia 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization, and are members of the World Basketball Association (WBA).
