Acworth, GA - The Chattahoochee Technical College men's varsity basketball team will host Snead State Community College on Friday night at JH Morgan Gym in Cartersville. The Golden Eagles are off to a 2-1 start on the young season and look to bounce back from a tough 72-69 loss last weekend to Cleveland State. Christopher Deny, a 6'3" freshman gaurd/forward out of Pebblebrook High School, leads the way for the Golden Eagles while averaging 17 points per game. 6'6" power forward, Leon Coleman (Soph.), is commanding the paint, turning in 14 points and 8.6 rebounds a night thus far. 6'2" gaurd Kenji Breedlove and 6'4" small forward Clifton Cormier, are each contributing 12 points per contest, while 5'7" speedster Brannon Hopkins is chipping in with 9.9 points. The CTC roster also boasts former Cartersville High standout Dominique Richards, who is in his freshman campaign for the Golden Eagles. Tip off at JH Morgan Gymnasium is set for 7:30pm on Friday evening. General Admission is $5.00. CTC students presenting a current student ID are admitted free. On Sunday, Chattahoochee Tech will host a triple-header at JH Morgan Gym, with the women's club basketball team will hosting Roxbury Community College at 3:00pm, while the CTC men's JV team will play BC Howren at 4:30pm, followed Golden Eagles men's varsity versus the Robins Air Force Base Falcons at 7:00pm. |
