 Blue Devils blast Fort McPherson 116-69... Cartersville, GA (Sun. Jan. 13, 2007) - Michael Reynolds downed 30 and Brandon Harris battled his way to 23, as the Summer Hill Blue Devils jumped all over the Fort McPherson Knights Army squad, 116-69. The teams traded baskets early in the contest, before the Blue Devils' defense kicked in, creating a series of turnovers....

Cartersville, GA (Jan 6, 2007) - The Baseline Warriors and the Summer Hill squads were all victorious on Sunday afternoon at JH Morgan Gym. Baseline had to execute a stirring rally to get by the Mac-town Ballers, 92-79, the Summer Hill Blue Devils post grad team ran over GA Elite Christian, 132-82; the Blue Devils B-team defeated Cedartown B-team 81-74; and the Lady Devils garnered their first win of the season with a 53-52 nail-biter over the Lady Pride.... http://www.usbasket.com/gba/gba.asp

  WHAT'S ON TAP...
Notes: The Blue Devils have a busy week, as they will be on the road at Reinhardt College in Waleska (GA) Wednesday for a 7:30pm tipoff, then will travel to Gordon College Saturday for a 7:00pm start on the Barnesville (GA) Campus, then will return home Sunday to host Sound Doctrine Christian Academy at 4:00pm. The Summer Hill B-team squad will take on GA Elite Christian Sunday at 2:30pm. Later, Sunday the Baseline Warriors will take on Fort McPherson at 7:00pm inside the friendly confines of JH Morgan Gym. The Lady Devils will back in action January 27 when the Lady Pride returns.

MORGAN SIGNS WITH ALLEN UNIVERSITY...
 
  #3 - Chris Morgan warms up in a blur... 
 
Columbia, SC (Jan. 2, 2007) - Chris Morgan, who played for Summer Hill last season, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Allen University in Columbia, SC. Morgan lead the Devils to a 33-7 record, an SEBL Indpedendent Title, a CPRD Men's Open Championship and a birth in the Georgia State Men's Open Tournament. Chris had briefly returned to the Blue Devils and Baseline Warriors during December and made an immediate impact in helping the Devils win the Georgia Shootout Invitational. Following the tournament, Summer Hill staff took Morgan to a work out at Allen University.
 
Morgan is ithe 12th Blue Devil player to move on, or return, to the college court. He enrolled at Allen on Januray 3rd. Prior to playing with Summer Hill, Morgan played at Wallace State CC in Alabama. The Cartersville-native was also a standout player at Woodland High School from 2000-04. Allen University is a 4-year school that competes as an Division I Independent in the NAIA.
