Hello,
The New Frontier of Bartow County, Inc. will be hosting its 8th Annual Feed the Community Dinner, on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at the Cartersville Civic Center. This dinner allows us the opportunity to provide a pre-Thanksgiving Dinner for senior citizens, shelter residents, poverty-stricken families, veterans, and youths. With the economic developments that have taken place over the last year, we fully expect this year’s dinner to be our greatest endeavor. Our hope is that the community will once again answer the challenge and support our efforts.
Last year, your generosity provided approximately 3,000 meals to Bartow County residents - over 25% went to children, over 20% went to the handicapped and over 15% went to the elderly – however; statistics indicate that between 500 – 750 Bartow County residents requests were left unfilled! Along with a fulfilling meal, this year’s dinner will also include barber and beautician services, a health fair, religious and legal consultation, toys for tots, and school supplies for students of all ages.
It has always been the goal of this organization to ensure that no one leaves the dinner hungry. In order to accomplish this worthwhile cause, we are requesting that your company contribute a donation of $100.00 or more to assist with the purchase of food items and gift bags (consisting of toiletries). We will gladly accept any contribution that you are willing to donate to this worthwhile event. A contribution to this all-volunteer program means your money goes to feed the hungry! Even the smallest contribution - combined with others - will help feed the hungry. Please submit your donation by Wednesday, November 12, 2008. We would also ask that you/your employees consider joining us the day of the event to volunteer.
Please forward all monetary gifts to the following address:

Feeding the hungry is work that is eternal! As we launch our campaign this year, we are asking you all to lend a helping hand once more. Remember, every dollar counts - please feed as many as you can.
Warmest regards,
Michael Dean
